Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
MicroTools (βweβ, βusβ, βourβ) provides free, single-purpose web utilities. This policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use this website, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Your tool input never leaves your device. Everything you type or paste into a tool is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. It is never uploaded to, stored on, or logged by our servers.
- We have no accounts, sign-ups or analytics. We do not ask for your name, email or any other personal details.
- The site is supported by ads. Google AdSense may use cookies to show ads. You can turn off personalised ads at any time (see below).
1. Data you enter into the tools
The Luhn Validator, Test Card Generator, JSON Formatter, JSON to Dart Model Generator, .env to Dart Config Generator, Assets to Dart Generator, Password Generator, RSA Key Pair Generator, UUID Generator, Lorem Ipsum Generator, Epoch Converter, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, Base64 Image Viewer and Case Converter all run entirely client-side. Card numbers, IMEI numbers, JSON documents, .env files, generated passwords, text and timestamps stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page. We have no technical means of seeing them.
When you drop a folder into the Assets to Dart Generator, only the file names and folder paths are read. The image files themselves are never opened, read or uploaded.
Passwords, UUIDs and RSA key pairs are generated with your browser's built-in cryptography (the Web Crypto API). They are never transmitted anywhere, and RSA keys, messages, ciphertexts and signatures are never saved.
2. Browser storage
To remember a few preferences between visits, the site stores small values in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:
mt-themeβ your light or dark mode choicemt-last-toolandmt-last-flutter-toolβ the tool you used most recently in each section, so it reopens next timemt-json-indentβ your preferred JSON indentationmt-b64-urlsafeβ whether URL-safe Base64 is enabledmt-dart-optionsβ your JSON to Dart settings (class name, style and checkboxes)mt-env-optionsβ your .env to Dart settings (class name, output mode, type inference). Your .env content is never saved.mt-assets-optionsβ your Assets to Dart settings (class name and style). File names are never saved.
None of these values contain tool input. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.
3. Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to serve and measure ads:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in the EU, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
Ad cookies are set by Google, not by us, and Google never receives anything you type into the tools.
4. Third-party resources
The site's own pages, styles and scripts are served from our website. The only third-party code is Google's ad code, loaded from Google's servers. As with any web request, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page URL. Its handling of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
5. Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested page and time) for security and to keep the service running. These logs never include tool input, because tool input is never sent to the server. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
6. Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data through the tools and do not operate user accounts, we generally hold no personal data about you to access, correct or delete. For data collected by Google through advertising, you can manage your choices using the links in section 3. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or PIPEDA), you may have additional rights. Contact us using the details below if you have any questions.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the βLast updatedβ date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
